David R. Standen

David R. Standen, 83, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Autumn Lake Nursing Home in Rising Sun, MD.  He was the husband of Marjorie B. Goeller Standen for over 21 years.  Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of the late David B. and Elsie E. Herbert Standen.

David was a retired postal worker in Broomall, PA.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Wilmington, DE.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Michelle McMahon and Michael (Lisa) Standen, grandchildren, Michael Jr., Kathryn. and Melanie, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Run Baptist Cemetery, 641 Lantz Rd., Atglen, PA.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Concord Baptist Church , 2510 Marsh Rd., Wilmington, DE, 19810 or Boys Town of America .
