David John Martin

David John Martin, 65, of East Fallowfield Township, PA, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  He was the husband of Teresa Y. Rogers Martin for over 37 years.  Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late John E. "Jack" and Edna Rendall "Tootles" Martin.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Jennifer) Martin of Chester Springs, PA, and Joshua (Kelsey) Martin of Parkesburg, PA.

David was a graduate of Octorara High School and York College.  He was newly retired after a career in quality control at Container Research.

Known as “Buck” by many friends and family, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved spending time outdoors. He loved all sports, especially following and supporting his son’s passions which were baseball and horse riding. He spent many years coaching Josh’s baseball teams, and never missed a game of his up through his adult league years. He followed Jonathan’s equestrian endeavors from a young age, and continued to support the career he has built to this day.

But above all, he loved his family and friends. A loving husband, to his wife Terri, enjoyed traveling together and enjoying the outdoors with their 3 dogs. A devoted father, to his two hard working sons, Jonathan and Josh, who he was so proud of. No matter what, if you called him, you knew he would be there especially for his family.

He was loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in David's memory to the Modena Fire Company, 5 N. Brandywine Ave, Coatesville, PA  19320.
