David James Fisher

David James "Fish" Fisher, 78, of Coatesville, PA passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. He was the beloved husband of Joanne K. Terriman Fisher with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Christian K. Fisher and Irene K. Wiker Fisher.

David was an area resident all his life and a 1965 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served in the Army from 1965 to 1967.

Dave was employed, for 25 years, by Royal Paper Products in Coatesville as a warehouse worker.

He was a member of the Parkesburg VFW, the Coatesville VFW, the West End Fire Company, the Polish American Club of Coatesville, the LGM, the Brandywine Dart League, life member of the Westwood Fire Company, and life member of the Loyal Order Moose Lodge 297 Fellowship Degree.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son Michael D. Fisher, Sr. and wife Wendy of Coatesville and one grandson Michael D. Fisher, Jr. and wife Mackenzie also of Coatesville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery, Compass, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
