David E. Engle Jr.

David E. Engle Jr., 72, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.  He was the husband of the late Karen A. Engle who passed away in 2018.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late David E. Sr. and Doris Taylor Engle.

David worked as a former supervisor at Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed cars and car shows, watching NCIS, and animals, especially cats but he grew very fond of and spoiled his daughter's dog, Jax.

He is survived by his children, Amy McCoy, Jason Engle, and Audrey (Clifton) Mayo, grandchildren, Daniel, Lilly, and Dominic, and siblings; Roger Engle and Tina Hall. Additionally, he is survived by a host of family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365 on Saturday, May 22,2021 at 10 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend a vistiation period taking place from 9 AM until the start of the service.
