David Arthur Book

David Arthur Book, 66, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 under the care of Penn Medicine Hospice in West Chester.  He was the beloved husband of Donna Marie Book, with whom he shared three years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, David was the son of the late Emma Violet (Mooney) and Albert T. Book, Jr.  He was a graduate of Downingtown High School and worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike as a foreman for 37 years, retiring 12 years ago.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his beloved daughter, Lisa Book Radetzky, wife of Michael, of Downingtown; his grandson, Trent David Radetzky; and his siblings, Albert T. Book, III and wife Marsha of Coatesville, Michael Book and wife Kim of Downingtown and Joanne Book of Coatesville.

David will be remembered for his love for his family, being a wonderful husband, the numerous friendships he made throughout his life, and the connection he had with his only grandchild, Trent.  David enjoyed riding his "Screamin' Eagle" Harley-Davidson, taking his dog "Harper" on walks, riding his bicycle, following the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles, and hanging out at Limoncello in Chester Springs.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg from 11 AM until 1 PM.
