Daniel Lamana, Jr.

Daniel Lamana Jr., 89, of Oxford, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 15, 2024.  He was the husband of Edna Margaret (Summers) Lamana for over 67 years.  Born in Washington Township, NJ, he was the son of the late Daniel Sr. and Mary Delea Lamana.

Daniel proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and he worked for Penn Metals and Southwark Metals and retired from there in 1999.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, drawing horses, and even tried out for the Phillies, playing cards and enjoyed immensely playing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by a daughter, Tina Lamana D’Alonzo of Oxford, PA, daughter-in-law Susan Lamana of Oxford, PA, grandchildren: Diana, Tina, Danielle, Nicole, Alyssa, Maria), great-grandchildren: Diana N., Lexi, Gabby, Bella, Bianca, Giuliana, Dj, Carson, Anthony, Arianna and Lucian Great great grandchildren: Calvin, Julian Cienna, and 3 brothers: Anthony, Louis, and Mike. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel E. Lamana, and 3 siblings: Anna, Marion and Mary.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Foundations.
