Daniel H. Morris, Jr.

Daniel H. Morris, Jr., 93, of Honey Brook, formerly of Malvern, died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Heatherwood Retirement Community of Honey Brook. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. Parent Morris who died in 2007. born in Wayne, PA he was the son of the late Daniel H. Morris, Sr. and Edith M. Muench Morris.

Dan was area resident all his life. He proudly served as a Merchant Marine during WWII. After the war, he was employed as a mechanic and had retired from Schramm, Inc. of West Chester.

He is survived by two sons; John Owens and wife Patricia of Coatesville, Daniel H. Morris, III and wife Catherine of Frederick, MD, two grandchildren Paul and Susan, three great grandchildren, and two sisters; Elizabeth M. Townsend of Cochranville and Edith M. Thompson of Guthriesville. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles F. Morris and Walter F. Morris, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11am from the Heatherwood Retirement Community Chapel, 3180 Horseshoe Pike
Honey Brook, PA 19344. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. Viewing from 10:30 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Heatherwood Retirement Community at the above address.
