Dana W. Holmes

Dana W. Holmes, 54, of East Fallowfield Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 22 at his home. He was the husband and best friend of Rachel Kerchner Holmes, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.

Born in Albuquerque, NM, he was the son of Wiley T. Holmes of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and stepson of Mary Lou Holmes.

He was a high school graduate of Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia.

Dana was self-employed as a Computer Repairman and owner of Elysium Computer Services.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, father and stepmother, by his two children, Joshua C. and Samantha L. Holmes; his stepsisters, Patti Drake of Springville, Ala. and Carey Ann Mason of Northport, Ala. and also by his sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery of East Fallowfield. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 9 until 11 AM.
