Dana Cecil "Herbie" Martin, Jr.

Dana Cecil "Herbie" Martin, Jr., 59, of Gordonville, PA  passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at home.  Born in Elkton, Maryland, he was the son of Joanne Beard Martin who lives in Elkton, MD, and the late Dana Cecil Martin Sr.

Herbie is survived by his children, Daniel, Devon, and Ryan Martin, and one grandchild, Daniel Martin Jr.  He is also survived by his siblings, Deborah Martin, Della Hutting, Donna Martin, and Daryl Martin.  He will be missed by all who knew him, especially by his Aunts Nancy Cook and Lillian Frank.

Herbie enjoyed fishing, especially along the Octorara Creek and Lake where you'd hear him listening to rock and roll and country music.  When he was home, he enjoyed watching fishing and wildlife shows as well as NASCAR. He loved driving on back roads and enjoying nature, especially Creek Road.  Herbie always had a smile on his face.  He was a gentle, sweetheart of a person.

Herbie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a yet-to-be-determined date.
