D. Marie Katherman

D. Marie Katherman, 85, of Parkesburg, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert Katherman with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edna Gillespie Engle.
Marie lived in Parkesburg all her life. She was a member of the Parkesburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter Lou Ann, wife of John Henley of Parkesburg, two grandsons; Jason Henley and wife Elizabeth of Gap and Justin Henley of Georgetown, two great grandchildren; Rylie and Sophia Henley  and one sister Kathleen Durborow of Parkesburg. She was preceded in death by six siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery. Viewing from 10 to 11am.
