Cynthia Mammarella

Cynthia "Cindy" Mammarella, 65, of Parkesburg, PA, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Eric Mammarella for nearly 46 years. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of James and Joanne (Hardy) DeCarlo of Dungannon, VA.

Working in various roles at West Sadsbury Township for over 30 years, Cindy most recently served as manager of the township. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Parkesburg. Cindy enjoyed hiking, visiting national parks, winning card and Scrabble games, playing pickleball, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Dominic (Andrea) Mammarella of Wayne, PA, a daughter, Sarah (Adam) Voegtle of Sneads Ferry, NC, grandchildren, Luca, Nico, Caroline, and Noah, a sister, Shelley (Todd) Cassel of Dungannon, VA, sister-in-law, Jean Jones of Coatesville, PA, brother-in-law, James Mammarella of Lancaster, PA, and an aunt, Susan (Carl) Smoker of Atglen, PA.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 603 W. 2nd Ave., Parkesburg, PA, with a viewing at the same location starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
