Cynthia Lynn Cox

Cynthia Lynn Cox, 55, of Gap, PA, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Charlotte Devine Cox of Gap, PA and the late Karl R. Cox, Sr.

Cindy was an area resident all her life and a 1988 graduate of the Octorara Area High School. She was employed, for over 30 years, by Cleveland Cliffs Steel Mill (Lukens Steel) in Coatesville as a dispatcher.

She is survived, in addition to her mother, by one devoted daughter Kristin Cox of Gap, one grandson, Landyn Cox and one granddaughter Charlotte "Charlie" Cox both of Gap and three siblings; Susan Smith and husband Dennis of Austin, Texas, Karen Cox Zaplitny and husband Bryon of Coatesville, PA and Karl Cox and wife Diane of Willow Street, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Cox Griffiths.

A Celebration of Life Service is to take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 5pm -10pm at the United Steelworkers Union Hall, 750 Charles Street, Coatesville, PA.
