Clyde Kenneth "Stoney" Feister

Clyde Kenneth "Stoney" Feister, 83, of Gap, PA passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Hospice and Community Care Center in Mt. Joy, PA. He was the husband of the late Florence Hershey Feister who died in 2017. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Clyde L. Feister and Elva Stauffer Feister.

Clyde was an area resident all his life. He graduated from Paradise High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps at age 17. He re-entered the military in 1959 and proudly served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. He was employed by the former Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville for 37 years retiring in 2001.

Clyde was a member of the Christiana Masonic Lodge #417.

He is survived by two daughters; Bunnie L. Feister of Gap and Robin J. Palmer of Coatesville, two grandchildren; Amanda L. Palmer and David L. Palmer, Jr. and two siblings; Jane E. Witmer of Blue Ball, PA and Larry L. Feister of Ocean Springs, MS. He was preceded in death by one brother Jack L. Feister.

Due to the current restriction on public gatherings, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Clyde's memory to the Moore Memorial Library, 9 W Slokom Ave, Christiana, PA 17509
