Chester D. Heinzman, Sr., 77, of Honey Brook, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the VA Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Rose Amole Heinzman, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ida Deinthorne Heinzman.
He was the son of Viola Wonderley Heinzman and Oscar Heinzman. An area resident his entire life, he was the employed by the former Lukens Steel Co. and over the years at the Coatesville Flower Shop. Chester served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his five children: Chester Heinzman Jr., Lynn Hall, Shelby Chilcote, Tracey Surrett and Stacey Heinzman; his stepchildren, Linda, Horace, Wesley, Michael, Edward, William, Dianne, Betty, Barbara, Sandra, Linda, Charles, Donald, Brenda and Frank, Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his step brother, Jerry Lammey.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held on both Sunday evening from 6 until 8 and again on Monday morning from 10 until 11 AM.
