Chester C. Ash

Chester C. Ash, 80, of Westwood, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at his home.  Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Arthur "Artie" and Helen "Minnie" Hamilton Ash.

Chester was an area resident all his life. He was the owner and operator for 47 years of the West End Garage in Coatesville where he specialized as a transmission mechanic. He was a life member of the West End Fire Company.

He is survived by two children; Kelly Wiggins of Westwood and Chester C. Ash, III and wife Nita of Coatesville,  five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three siblings; Artie Ash of Parkesburg, Becky Nuse of Valley Twp., and Patsie Chilla of Downingtown. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Jackie Weaver and Shirley Ash.

Memorial services will be held on Friday August 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Beideman officiating, at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA. Visitation from 10-11:00 AM.
