Charlotte R. Levengood

Charlotte R. Levengood, 82, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Paoli Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late William D. "Skip" Levengood with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Cecil S. Garris and Mary Bryson Garris.

Charlotte was an area resident all her life and a graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed for many years by Valley Township serving as Secretary, Treasurer, and elected Township Tax Collector.

She enjoyed trips to the beach, teaching ceramic classes, spending time with friends, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son Michael K. Levengood and wife Paula  and two grandchildren Courtney and Colby Levengood. She was preceded in death by one son Steven B. Levengood.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to the time of the service followed by interment at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, East Fallowfield, PA.
