Charles T. Halsey, Sr.

Charles T. Halsey, 80, of Coatesville, passed away at Brandywine Hospital on Saturday, April 9, 2016.  He was the beloved husband of Ramona Liggett Halsey, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in Independence, Virginia, Charles was the son of the late Annie and Roosevelt Halsey.  An area resident for most of his life, he was a 1955 graduate of Scott High School.  He was employed at the former Lukens Steel Co. as a Crane Operator.

Charles is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children: Charles T. Halsey Jr. of Coatesville and Kenneth R. Halsey, wife of Mable, of Coatesville; and one sister, Louella Halsey of Coatesville.  He was predeceased by his sister, Jessie Jones.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville.  The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
