Charles N. "Chuck" Pierce, Jr.

Charles N. "Chuck" Pierce, Jr., 63, of Honey Brook, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the Penn Medicine Hospice Unit in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Karen Habermann Pierce with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Charles N. Pierce, Sr. and Viola Mae Burkey Pierce.

Chuck was a Chester County resident all his life and a 1974 graduate of the Downingtown High School. He was employed most of his life as a mechanic and he owned and operated the Pierce Small Engine Repair Shop.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Melissa Bauman of Pottstown, wife of the late Roger Bauman, Jr., Charles N. Pierce, III of Downingtown, Breeze Lee Pierce and husband Craig Grebe, Sr. of Elverson, three stepchildren; Tanya Brosius of Parkesburg, Robert Kirkner and wife Meranda of Florida and Randall Kirkner of Phoenixville, 16 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four sisters; Marietta "Chic" Ware, Anna "Chubby" Dowlin, Judy Pierce and Lucy Cumens. He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter; Christina Mark, and two brothers; Ralph Pierce and an infant baby brother.

Due to the current pandemic, a Celebration of Life Service will be planned and announced at a later date and time. Memorial donations may be made in Chuck's memory directly to the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 to help defray funeral expenses.
