Charles Francis Mcneal

Charles Francis "Skip" McNeal, 87, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Newport Meadows in Christiana.  He was the husband of Renate Steinohrt McNeal.  Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of the late John Roy Anthony and Winifred Ruth Ryan McNeal.

Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was a graduate of Millersville University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with a minor in Spanish.  He was employed as a teacher in the Oxford School District.  He attended the Parkesburg Presbyterian Church.

He was Past Master of the former Masonic Lodge F.& A.M.  of Parkesburg and was an avid history and baseball fan, especially the St. Louis Browns.

He is survived by wife, Renate, a daughter, Corri McNeal, and an uncle, Robert "Ace" Ryan, all of Parkesburg.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
