Charles F. "Chuck" Mcadams

Charles F. "Chuck" McAdams, 92, of New Holland, PA passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 surrounded by members of his family.  He was the husband of Helen Louise "Honey Lou" Gilbaugh McAdams for 72 years.  Born in Pomeroy, PA he was the son of the late Oliver D. and Grace Warren McAdams.

Chuck graduated from Scott High School in Coatesville, PA and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a supervisor at E.I. Dupont in Wilmington, DE, retiring in 1985.  He was a long-time member of Coatesville Bible Fellowship (formerly The Presbyterian Church of Coatesville) where he served as an Elder and Deacon during his years at the church. He was also active in the choir. He served as a Cub Scout leader in Unionville, PA. At one time he was the President of the Indian Hannah Hunt Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Margaret Beatty of Gap, PA; Steven McAdams (Karleen) of East Fallowfield, PA; James McAdams (Robin) of Greenville, SC, and Carl McAdams (Carol) of Townville, PA. Chuck was predeceased by his son John McAdams (Nancy) of Aston, PA. Chuck had 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 20th, at 11 AM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, New Holland, with a visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service.
