Charles E. Archey

Charles E. Archey, 67, of Parkesburg, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2009 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Roberta B. Archey of Parkesburg.

Charles was an area resident all his life and a 1960 graduate of the Octorara High School. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the Cold War era.

He is survived, in addition to his mother, by four brothers; Albert, Michael and Dennis Archey all of Parkesburg and Leslie Archey of West Chester and also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Mt. Zion AME Cemetery, Atglen, PA. Family and friends may also attend the viewing on Saturday morning from 10:00am to the time of the service.
