Caroline A "Babel" DiPietrantonio "Tootie" peacefully and happily departed this life on November 15,2013 from the Quarryville Presbyterian Home where she had lived since August. She was 87.
Caroline has started her new journey home to be reunited with her beloved husband "Tony" DiPietrantonio. She was preceded in death by her parents William "George" and Helen Babel, her sister Mary Zook, brothers Harry and John Babel, a niece Debbie and nephews George and Ken.
Caroline was born and raised in Coatesville PA, retired from Sweeda in Lionville and spent the last 21 years along the Susquehanna River in Sunbury PA.
She loved to read, do word puzzles, nature, taking walks, bird watching ,growing flowers, hunting, fishing and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family whether it was on the farm, in Florida or in Texas.
She leaves behind two sisters, Dorothy Riley and her husband Robert from Parkesburg PA and Frances Herr, many nieces and nephews that lovingly called her "Chuchie" or "Aunt Tootie".
She will be greatly missed by her niece Erin Riley Hubbert her husband Kyle, their children, Keri Milliron Bortz, her husband Brian, Jeffery Milliron. Her nephews Patrick Riley of Sunbury and Micheal Riley of Atglen.
She will also be greatly missed by her family in Florida a niece Anita Babel Salas, Nephew Joseph Dotes, his wife Basha, their son Mason as well as her family in Texas, a niece Alicia Griffiths, her husband Charles, their children, Charles and Deanna, a niece Lorna Isenberg, her husband Keith, their children Kevin and Madison.
Caroline has requested to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband Tony at Saint Cecilia's Cemetary in Coatesville, PA. Date to be determined. She also requested to have no services but instead to celebrate her renewed health, happiness and being reunited with her Tony.
While in life we live, laugh and love and in death we hold and cherish our memories.
