Carol J. Griffith

Carol J. Griffith, 64, of Gap, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Hospice Center of Mt. Joy.  She was the beloved wife of John P. Griffith, Jr., with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Born on Saturday, August 11, 1942 in Thorndale, Carol was the daughter of the late Paul Linderman and Ann Trego Linderman.  She belonged to the Gap Community Church.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Taylor of Lancaster and Chrissy Mowery of Gap, her grandson, Aaron Shute, and her three siblings, Paul Linderman of Kentucky, Ronald Linderman of Pomeroy and Donna Riley of Parkesburg.  She was predeceased by her two sisters, Shirley and Sandy.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with Pastor Buck Mowday officiating.  Interment will be held at the Glen Moore United Methodist Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing at the Funeral Home, which will be held on both Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday morning, from 10 until 11 AM.
