Carol E. Arnold

Carol E. Arnold, 95, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester, PA. She was the wife of the late Donald Ellwood Arnold who died in 1989. They shared 44 years of marriage together. Born in Valley Township, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Horace J. W. Shindle and Edna Mae (Hilton) Shindle.

Carol was an area resident all her life. Many years ago she attended the Modena Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by three children; Donna Marsh and husband Doug of Narvon, Susan Foreman and husband Stephen of Coatesville with whom she lived with for the past 28 years and Scott Arnold and wife Donna of Honey Brook, ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one sister Alma Steen of Downingtown. she was preceded in death by one sister Mildred Root and one brother Bailey Shindle.
