Bruce Aaron Wolfer

Bruce Aaron Wolfer, 57, resident of Parkesburg, PA since 2015, passed away on January 22, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born on February 25, 1965 in Montgomery County to George Wolfer and the late Joanne Deibler (Thorne) and brother to Brian Wolfer of West Chester and Tanith Jones of Denver.

Bruce was a hard worker, skilled in many trades, a master painter with an eye for detail, he was part of the IUPAT District Council 21 Painters Union in Philadelphia through 1984-1996. He was owner and operator of Aaron Contracting Company which he started in 1993 in West Chester and instead of retiring he continued his business individually throughout his last years with loyal customers.

He spent his educational years in Interboro High School, took business classes at Delaware County Community College, and went through the union painters apprentice program at JFK Technical School.

Bruce was a kind generous soul whose laughter could brighten any room. He always knew how to put a smile on a sad face. He loved nature, rock and roll, a nice cold beer while watching the Eagles game, and especially spending time with his kids. He was a devoted father of three children, Valerie, Ada and Aaron Wolfer with his beloved wife Tammy Wolfer (Neilds), married June 10th 1999.
As well as his children he is survived by his father and step-mother Brenda, his siblings, and step-siblings (Valerie and Jay) and 14 nieces and nephews.

He will be missed not only by his family but by all that knew him including every friend he used to cause mischief with, every loyal customer, every fellow worker and to every neighbor he lent a helping hand to. To all, he was truly one of a kind.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 1:00 PM to the time of the service.
