Brian C. Burke

Brian C. Burke, 45, of Highland Township, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, in Lancaster, PA.  Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of John R. and Elizabeth C. Schrass Burke of Highland Township.

Brian was a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School class of 1995, and also attended the Chester County VoTech. He was an award-winning competitor in the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA). He was a small engine mechanic and enjoyed working and collecting old Camaro cars and Gravely tractors. He also enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his parents and his siblings, Sean, Matthew (Swara), Michael, and Jeffrey(Kristin Kicenuik), a niece, Priya, and nephews, Nathan and Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 W. Ridge Rd., Linwood, PA,on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either The Salvation Army at https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/ways-to-give/ or the Society of the Little Flowers at https://www.littleflower.org/product/donation/
