Blanche M. Harper

Blanche M. Harper, 88, formerly of Marshallton, Pa., passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community of Honey Brook.  She was the widow of the late C. Norman Harper, with whom she had shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Anna Piwonski Kornet and Pawel Kornet.  She retired in 1988 from the Wyeth Laboratories in West Chester, where she was employed as a Supervisor.

She is survived by her two children: Carl Harper, husband of Julia, of East Fallowfield and Cheryl Peters of Tobyhanna, Pa.; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and three siblings, Adolph Kornet of Coatesville, Wanda Kubicki of West Grove and Elizabeth Celii of Downingtown.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Walter, Louis and Edward Kornet and Sarah Filoromo.

The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Tel Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA.  Interment will be private.  Visitation will be held at the Tel Hai Chapel from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Blanche's memory to the Tel-Hai Care Assurance Fund, P.O. Box 190 Honey Brook, Pa. 19344.
