Beulah E. Steen

Beulah E. Steen, 90, of Chester Springs, formerly of Springdell, died on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the LifeCare Hospital in West Chester. She was the wife of the late C. Raymond Steen, Sr.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Evan and Minnie Deck McCarraher.

An area resident all her life, she was employed by the Unionville High School as head of the Cafeteria staff. Beulah attended the Friendship United Methodist Church in Gum Tree and she was the oldest Life Member of the Westwood Fire Company where she enjoyed playing bingo.



She is survived by two sons; C. Raymond Steen, Jr. and wife Carol of Chester Springs and William E. Steen and wife Beverly of Gap, eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February, 19, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery in East Fallowfield. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11:00 am.
