Betty Jane Decker

Betty Decker, 88, of Parkesburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 at the Pocopson Home.

Born in 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Daller of Parkesburg.

Betty was preceded in death by her son, Gary E. Decker, in 2004.

A lifelong resident of Parkesburg,  Betty  made  many good  friends while living at Pocopson.  She was also recently  baptized  in the chapel at Pocopson.

She is survived by a sister, Janet Jones of Parkesburg  and  her brother, Walter Daller Jr. (Ruthann) of Collegeville. She is also survived by several   nieces, nephews,  great-nieces and great-nephews, along with her very good friends, Darlene and Laura.

In addition to her son and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Taylor, Shirley Poff and Connie Mullin.

Betty requested there be no funeral service. Her family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
