Betty D. Laws

Betty D. Laws, 83, of West Grove, Pa., passed away on Friday, October 17 at the Christiana Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Leonard H. Laws Sr., with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Bel Air, Md., Betty was the daughter of the late Goldie (Stykes) and Benjamin F. Dixon.

She was a member of the New London Baptist Church.  Betty drove school bus for the Krapf Bus Co. for 32 years.

For many years Betty taught Sunday School for New London Church.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She looked forward to vacations in Wilmington, N.C. and spending time on the beach.

She is survived by her four children: Leonard H. Laws, Jr., husband of Barbara, of Coatesville, Richard K. Laws, husband of Wanda, of Erwin, Tn., Pete G. Laws, husband of Bev, of New London and Colleen L. Cramer, wife of Jeff, of Quarryville; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brother Benjamin Dixon.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd at 1 PM at the New London Baptist Church, 226 Pennocks Bridge Rd, West Grove, PA 19390, followed by interment in the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Cemetery.  The viewing will take place at the church from 11 AM until 1 PM.
