Benjamin Joseph Fuller, 77, of Wagontown, PA, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Christine Alice Stephens Fuller with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Joseph Henry Fuller and Eleanor Jane Stringer Fuller.
Ben was an area resident all his life and a 1964 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed, for over 50 years, by the Lukens Steel Company of Coatesville, now Cleveland Cliffs, retiring as an inspector. Even though he retired from the mill, he was a full time Grandfather who tinkered in the backyard, crafted Santas, and put many miles on his John Deere.
He was a member of the former St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church in Coatesville.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Joseph Benjamin Fuller of Coatesville, Stephen Henry Fuller and fiancé Rebecca Cochran of Coatesville and Kate Allison Fuller of Wagontown, five grandchildren; Benjamin, Cole, Julia, Violet, and Corson Fuller all of Coatesville, two step grandchildren; Greyson and Harper and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother George Kelly Fuller.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
