Benjamin Jay Patterson, 31, of Atglen, passed away suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Born in West Chester, PA, he was the beloved son of James Jay Patterson and Melissa Grace Spell Patterson.
Ben was a graduate of Octorara High School and attended Thaddeus Stevens Technical School. He was a longtime employee at the Sunoco in Parkesburg. He was a Jeep guy who loved to work on his Grand Cherokee.
Ben enjoyed spending time at his family's home in Stone Harbor, NJ, where he was always available to help his grandparents and parents.
Ben was very unselfish and would help anyone who needed it.
He loved spending time with his brothers and extended family.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers, Steven James Patterson of Lancaster, Robert Norman Patterson of Philadelphia, his grandmother, Eve E. Patterson and his dogs "Elsa and Hondo".
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. from the Parkesburg United Methodist Church on Main Street with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
