Barbara Lynn Pinkerton Berkowitz

Barbara Lynn Pinkerton Berkowitz, 72, of Berwyn, passed away on June 20, 2018 at the Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Winifred Moore Pinkerton.  She graduated from Pequea Valley High School in 1964 and got her Masters in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in 1968.  She was employed by the Philadelphia School District, Roche Bobois, Art Sanctuary, and the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd all in Philadelphia.  She was a member of the Mendelssohn Club and the Pennsylvania Pro Musica both of Philadelphia.  She also attended the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd.

She is survived by her brother, Philip D. Pinkerton and wife Ann of Allentown and nephews, Andrew Pinkerton of Lake Mary, FL and Michael Pinkerton of Corona, CA

Memorial Services will be held on July 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation from 10-11:00 AM
