Barbara Louise Mellinger

Barbara Louise Mellinger, 93, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the Paoli Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Wayne H. Mellinger who died in 2018. They shared 65 years of marriage together. Born in Gardner, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth B. Mann and Theda Hale Mann.

Barb was an active member of the Parkesburg Baptist Church where she faithfully served as church organist for 53 years.

She is survived by four children; Sandy Finerfrock and husband Mike of Warsaw, VA, Steven Wayne Mellinger and wife Jennifer of Parkesburg, Debbie Clarke and husband Tim of Downingtown and David Mellinger of Bellefonte, PA, six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West St., Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation and viewing at the church from 9:30 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow the service at the Glen Run Baptist Cemetery, Atglen, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West St., Parkesburg, PA 19365.
