Barbara L. May

Barbara L. May, 81, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Thursday, May, 5, 2022 while under the care of the Green Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center in Malvern, PA. Born in Rockdale, PA she was the daughter of the late James P. May, Sr. and Ada Schukraft May.

Barbara was an area resident most of her life and a 1958 graduate of the Downingtown High School. She was employed, from 1992 to 1999, by Dr. Cryan's office as a secretary.

She is survived by five siblings; Kathleen Dixon of Parkesburg, Evella Linderman of Gap, Mary A. Sandone of West Chester, James P. May, Jr. of New Mexico and Dorothy Russell of Gap and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings; Edward May, Sr., Elsie Lewis, Thomas May and Paul E. May.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May, 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Hopewell Methodist Cemetery, Downingtown, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
