Barbara L. Garrett

Barbara L. Garrett, 76, of Pocopson Home, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester. She was the widow of the late Charles Garrett, who passed away in 1997.

Born in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Carrie Marshall Stevens. She was employed by the Pepperidge Farm of Downingtown for 20 years, retiring 11 years ago.

She is survived by four children: Becky Wilson of Easton, MD, Pam Pierce of Coatesville, Kim Fulmer of Coatesville and Marty Herman of Downingtown; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother Paul Stevens of Palmyra, PA. He was preceded in death by her son, Raymond and a sister, Doris Howell.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service which will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 2 PM at the Hopewell Cemetery, 852 Hopewell Rd., Downingtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neighborhood Hospice Center, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester 19380.
