Austin H. Reeser

August 13, 1930 — December 15, 2020

Austin H. Reeser, 90, of Coatesville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was the beloved husband of F. Lorraine Trego Reeser with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Oscar H. Reeser and Elizabeth Morris Reeser.

Austin was an area resident most of his life and a resident of Montana from 1993 to 2016. He was a 1948 graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. He was employed for 25 years by UPS as a tractor trailer driver.

Austin was a member of the West Caln Sportsman Club, Forks of the Brandywine Church where he played on the church Baseball team. He was also an avid mountain lion hunter.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four children; Stephen Reeser and wife Gretchen of Denver, CO, Audrey Cooper and husband Mark of Wagontown, PA, Laurie Stott and husband Jonathan of Morgantown, PA and Brenda Swisher of White Horse, PA, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two brothers; Martin Reeser of Atlanta, GA and Oscar Reeser of Coatesville and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant son Austin Lewis Reeser and a brother Harold Reeser.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with viewing and visitation from 1:30 - 3:00 PM.
