Arnetta C. Flowers

Arnetta C. Flowers, 52, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of Gilbert E. Flowers, Jr.

Born on Tuesday, March 11, 1958 in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Joann Brown Cooper of Parkesburg and the late Charles Cooper.

She served honorably with the U.S. Air Force and was employed by the V.A. Hospital as a Nursing Assistant, retiring in 1997.

An area resident her entire life, she was a member of the Bethany A.M.E. Church in Parkesburg.

She is survived, in addition to her husband and mother, by her daughter, Altisha Marie Flowers of Pittsburgh; one grandchild and her brother, Charles "Chuck" Cooper of Parkesburg.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 9 until 11 AM.
