Arlis Clyde Glenn

Arlis Clyde Glenn, 84, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Providence Place Nursing Home in Lancaster, PA. He was the husband of the late Mary Frances Powers Glenn who died in 2021. They shared 62 years of marriage together. Born in Mountain City, TN, he was the son of the late Clyde Arlis Glenn and Rhetta Mae Garland Glenn.

Arlis was an area resident most of his life. He was employed by General Motors as an auto worker.

He is survived, by two sons; Arlis Clyde Glenn, III of West Grove, PA and David Austin Glenn, Sr. and wife Kathy of Lincoln University, PA, four grandchildren; Cody Glenn, Garrett Glenn, Dominic Seese and David Glenn, Jr.  He was preceded in death by a son, Eric Zane Glenn, and one sister Shirley Stout.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA with the Rev. Robert L. Vannoy officiating. Interment will follow at the Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
