Anna Jean Burns

Anna Jean Burns, 85, formerly of Gap, passed away on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at Pocopson Home of West Chester.  She was the widow of the late Merrill E. Burns, who passed away in 1985.

Born in Hollidaysburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Geoffrey Leberfinger.

She was a member of the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Parkesburg.

She is survived by four children: Deborah Krempa, wife of John, of Coatesville, Timothy A. Burns, husband of Debra, of Parkesburg, Thomas P. Burns, husband of Mary Beth, of Coatesville and Gary E. Burns of Coatesville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and siblings, Helen Eckley of Hollidaysburg, Paul Leberfinger of Lititz, Donald Leberfinger of New Mexico and Robert Leberfinger of Altoona.

She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 West Second Ave., Parkesburg, Pa. followed by interment in the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.  The viewing will be held at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.
