Angela Constance Rossetti

Angela Constance Rossetti, 96, of Ronks, passed away on Friday, January 29th, 2021 under the care of Lancaster General Hospital.  She was the widow of the late Col. Raphael Rossetti, who passed away in 1992 after they had shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Angela was the daughter of the late Jessica (Eulo) and Harry R. Giardina.  An area resident since March of 2020, Angela had previously lived in Ocean City, MD, Wilmington, DE, Ellicott City, MD, and Baltimore, MD.

She was a high school graduate of St. Martins School in Baltimore and while there served at St Martin's and was one of the youngest church organist, starting at the age of 13.   Angela served with the Red Cross during World War II. Angela had a zest for life and loved traveling. In the past, Angela had done many wine tours in Europe along with visits to family in Italy.  Included with that was traveling around the United States anytime she could!  She also loved her hot tea, working on needlepoint and crochet projects, and playing countless games of skip-bo. She had a personality and charm that lit up and the room made her completely unforgettable. A born entertainer, a lover of life and of those around her.

Angela was a past President of KoC Ladies Auxiliary in Ocean City, MD, and the editor and planner for Fifth Wheel Group of Ocean City, MD.  She had worked as an Assistant Manager of Turf Valley Country Club, Ellicott, MD, and as an Assistant Manager and Manager of Hercules Guest House, Wilmington, DE.   Angela and Raphael were long time active members of Club Managers of America Association

Angela is survived by her son, Raphael G. Rossetti, husband of Cathy, of Dover, PA, and daughter, Constance Wolkowicz, wife of Joseph, of Ronks; grandchildren, Raphael Charles Rossetti, husband of Amy, of Citra, FL, Therese Schmidt, wife of Will, of York, PA, Samuel Wolkowicz of Ronks, Debbie Figueroa, wife of Ramon, of Leesburg, FL, and Timothy Wolkowicz of Lancaster, PA; and great-grandchildren, Meah Rossetti, Maria Rossetti, Luciana Schmidt, and Christina Figueroa.

She was predeceased, in addition to her husband, by her brother, Harry B. Giardina, and is survived by Harry's widow, Frances Giardina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365.  There will be a public visitation from 10 AM to 10:30 AM.  Burial will take place at Lorraine Park Mausoleum of Baltimore,on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., where she will be entombed next to her husband.
