Andrew Swyderski

Andrew Swyderski, 95, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019, at the Penn Medicine Hospice Center in West Chester, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Swyderski and Margaret Harris Swyderski.

Andy was an area resident most of his life. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was employed for 40 years by the Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville as an office worker. He was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg.

Andy is survived by two sisters; Madeline Moore of Westtown, PA and Constance Smith of Parkesburg and several nieces and nephews. Niece Kathryn Hagan and her husband have provided constant care for Andy in his last days.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 West 2nd Ave., Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
