Amy E. "Betty" Davidson

Amy E. "Betty" Davidson, 88, of Downingtown, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the Heatherwood Retirement Community in Honey Brook.  She was the wife of the late  James P. Davidson Sr. who passed away in 2010.  Born in Modena on Hephzibah Hill she was the daughter of the late Elwood W. and Francis Cooper Sturgis.

She was an area resident most of her life and attended the Coatesville Schools. She was a homemaker most of her life and later worked in food service for the Downingtown School District.

She is survived by her children; James P. Davidson Jr. of West Grove, Ronald C. Davidson of Downingtown, and Brian K. (Cheryl) Davidson of Honey Brook, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at the Oxford Cemetery.
