Allen F. Carr Sr.

Allen F. Carr, Sr., 75, of Kinzers, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. He was the beloved husband of Connie L. Anderson Carr with whom he shared 50 years of marriage with. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late James Carr and Elizabeth Peters DiObilda.

Allen grew up in the Coatesville area and attended the former Scott High School. He was employed most of his life as an auto body technician and had worked for many local auto repair shops and dealerships down through the years.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Wendy Umble and husband Glenn of Parkesburg, Allen F. Carr, Jr. of Brandamore, PA and Kelly Walton of Kinzers, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one brother David Carr of Cochranville. He was preceded in death by one grandson Tylor Shutters and one brother Barry Peters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation and viewing starting at 10:00 AM.
