Alexander Sera

Alex Sera, 84, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Tel Hai Nursing Home of Honey Brook. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Diem) Sera with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.

Alex was born in Nyeibogot, Hungary to the late Istvan and Karoline (Bihary) Sera on April 13, 1934. He came to the United States in 1958. He worked for Beloit in Downingtown as a welder and then at Auto Car when Beloit Closed. He had been retired for just over 16 years.
He was a member of the former Hungarian Reformed Church, which is now known as Hope Fellowship.

He is survived in addition to his wife by one son, Temple Coldren and his wife Ann of Coopersburg, PA and their son Temple Chase Coldren. Additionally he is survived by two siblings, brother Charles Sera of Parkesburg and his sister Maria of Hungary.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:30 PM from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA, 19365. Friends and Family are invited to attend a visitation period from 1 PM until the start of the service. Interment will directly follow the service and will take place at Upper Octorara Cemetery.

The family will not be receiving guests at their house at the present time.
