Alexander J. "Sandy" Grosser

Alexander J. "Sandy" Grosser, 64, of Ronks, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Lancaster County Hospice Center in Mt. Joy. He was the beloved husband of Julia Durning Grosser with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alexander and Mary Johnson Grosser.

Alex was employed most of his life as a contractor in plumbing and heating.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Katrina McGroarty, Juliann O'Malley, A. Joseph Grosser, Jr., Michelle Foster and Paul Grosser, 13 grandchildren; Stefhanie, Shawn, Jimmy, Amanda, Christopher, Veronica, Nicole, Holly, Paul, Jr., Tyler, Kaitlyn, Christopher and Jacob and three siblings;  Butch Grosser, Beverly Paralack and Susie Paralack.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am.
