Albert Paul Kelly, 83, of Gordonville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 under the care of Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte, Florida.

He was the beloved husband of Gayle (Ward) Kelly, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, Al was the son of the late Myrtle N. (Lapinsky) and Albert J. Kelly.  He graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in Philadelphia as a Diesel Tech.  He served in the US Army from 1958 to 1962, working in the mailroom and in the motor pool in Germany.

Albert worked as a diesel mechanic for FP Young Oil, which later became Meenan Oil Co.

He was a member of New Life Church in Lancaster, where he was baptized and gave his life to the Lord.

Al was a jack of all trades who enjoyed woodworking, furniture making, and house remodeling.  Al enjoyed boating and being by the water.  He restored a late 1950s Criss-Craft and later restored another wooden boat. He also enjoyed watching history shows.

He was a perfectionist at all he did, punctual, and a man of character.  Al was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Al is survived, in addition to his wife, Gayle, by his children: Lisa Ann (Kelly) Kuert, her husband Paul, of Huntingdon County, Paul Albert Kelly of Lobachsville, John Robert Kelly, his wife Doris, of Atglen, and Kathleen (Kelly)  Kaufman, her husband Dan, of Florida and Kristeen (Kelly) Maxton, her husband Jeff of Florida, 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Jean(Kelly) Keiger of Philadelphia.
