Aileen M. Carr

Aileen M. Carr, 42, of Atglen, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February, 3, 2010 after a long and courageous battle while under the loving care of her family and the Neighborhood Hospice. She is the beloved wife of Nathan L. Carr with whom she shared 10 years of marriage. Born in Cinnaminson, NJ, she is the daughter of Brian L.J. and Melanie L. Annunziata Callahan, of Cinnaminson, NJ. Aileen was a 1985 graduate of Cinnaminson High School. She continued her education at the College of New Jersey graduating in 1991.
She was employed at the Brandywine YMCA in administration and had been recently honored as Employee of the Year. Aileen has been a remarkable wife, mother, stepmother, daughter and sister.

She is survived, in addition to her husband and parents, by one daughter Callan R. Carr, step children Cassandra M. Carr and Nathan L. Carr, II, maternal grandmother Rachael Annunziata of Staten Island, NY, one sister Laura, wife of Joe Thomas of Mt. Laurel, NJ and two brothers; Sean Callahan of Cinnaminson, NJ and Matthew Callahan and wife Blair of Deptford, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:00am from Our Lady of Consolation Church,  603 W. Second Ave. Parkesburg, Pa. 19365. followed by interment at the St. Malachi Catholic Cemetery of Cochranville, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the visitation at the church  from 9:30am until 11am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Benefit Trust Account for Callan R. Carr, in care of the Fulton Bank, 100 W. 1st. Ave. Parkesburg, PA 19365.
