Adalbert H. Neubauer

Adalbert H. "Al" Neubauer, 78, of West Grove, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Coatesville VA Hospice Center. Born in Butow, Germany, he was the son of the late Willi Otto Neubauer and Franziska Schikora Neubauer.

Al immigrated to Pennsylvania with his family in 1951. He proudly served in the US Navy. For many years, he was a self employed master carpenter and did most of his work in restoration projects. He also served for over 20 years, as Scoutmaster for Troop #63 of Cochranville, PA.

He is survived by four children; Dieter Neubauer and wife Dee of Lititz, Bernadette Summers and husband Craig of Gap, Brian Neubauer and wife Tina of Nottingham and Erik Neubauer and wife Jaclyn of Mohnton, PA, 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three siblings; Erika Hoffman of Pottstown, Arnold Neubauer of West Grove and Joachim "Jake" Neubauer of Skowhegen, MA.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00am at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 2483 Baltimore Pike, Oxford, PA 19363 with visitation from 10 to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al's memory to the Coatesville VAMC Hospice & Palliative Care Program, 1400 Black Horse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.
