Alberta M. Graham, 70, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Chester County Hosptial in West Chester while battling a brief illness.  She was the beloved wife of Rodney P. Graham, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.

 
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Jeannette Crawford Miller.  An area resident of both Coatesville and Parkesburg, she helped with the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. of Coatesville.  
 
She was a member of the Nation of Islam of Philadelphia.  
 
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her daughter Helen Maxwell, wife of Herbert, of Coatesville; three special grandchildren, Johnnette Hawkins, Zamar Miller and Natasha Miller, all of Coatesville; six great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild, and her siblings, Amy Floyd, wife of Willie, Sara Saunderland, Louise Smith, Ralph Miller, husband of Debbie, Clyde Miller and Sylvester Miller, all of Coatesville.  And a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.  
 
She was predeceased by five brothers.  
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Philadelphia Memorial Park of Frazer.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 9 until 11 at the Funeral Home.
